About the Founder

Alice Kisiya is the founder and guiding voice of the Save Al-Makhrour Initiative.
Born and raised in Beit Jala, Alice carries a lifelong connection to Al-Makhrour Valley and a deep commitment to justice, heritage, and environmental protection.
Her vision bridges law, ecology, and humanitarian care, creating an initiative that defends land while also nurturing the people and communities who live upon it.
Under her leadership, Save Al-Makhrour has grown into a movement of hope — uniting legal experts, farmers, youth, and volunteers under one shared purpose:
“When we protect the land and care for one another, we protect our future.”
